由文化部主辦之「2014衛武營玩藝節」，由中華民國表演藝術協會（簡稱表演藝術聯盟）策劃執行，以「表演藝術」為主軸，除為觀眾安排各類演出節目及活動外，也策劃「國際連結」系列活動，包含Showcase、論壇、講座及各項交流活動，邀請國內外表演場館、藝術節及策展單位參與。期能將為臺灣表演團隊創造國際合作及演出機會。
表演藝術聯盟將持續致力建立表演團隊拓展國內外網絡連結，以逐步推動整體產業環境整備，為臺灣創造獨特的展演平台，使臺灣成為亞洲表演藝術創意能量重要據點。

Taiwan Performing Arts in Focus
About the Festival and Taiwan Focus
Hosted by Ministry of Culture and organized by Performing Arts Alliance, 2014 Wei Wu Ying Arts Festival consists of performing arts events and exhibitions planned for general audiences, and also “Taiwan Focus”, a series of activities organized for performing arts professionals. Taiwan Focus including performing arts showcases, forum discussions, workshops, video presentation, rehearsal viewing and cultural tours, inviting domestic and international curators, festival and performing arts venue directors to participate.
In the future, Performing Arts Alliance will function as a platform that facilitates performing arts group to connect with international arts network and foster a well constructed industrial environment. It will also carry the responsibility as a hub of performing arts and creativity in Asia.
